A New Cornerstone, Inc. was founded in 1997 by Dr. Lynn R. Mims to address the need for a faith based response to the issues of unemployment, drug abuse, recidivism and family disintegration.
Dr. Mims Believed that the key to healthy communities was to strengthen the basic unit of it, the family. As a result, our vision is reflected in our mission statement:
Creating Healthy Communities by Creating Healthy Families.
A New Cornerstone was incorporated as a 501 C.3 non-profit organization in the State of Missouri in 1998.
